Throughout NSW there are villages and estates that have been specifically established as manufactured home communities. There are also many tourist parks that have manufactured home communities within their grounds.

Most villages and estates have comprehensive facilities and amenities, including swimming pools, tennis courts, bowls, community centres, library and playgrounds.

Many of the villages and estates situated on rivers, bays or on the coast provide boat storage and ramp facilities for residents.

A major feature of manufactured home villages and estates is the security that comes from being among friends. There is great peace of mind in knowing that you are not alone and in many instances management is available 24 hours a day to assist anyone in need.

Also, an increasing number of villages or estates offer additional security by restricting access with a security barrier.

You may also be interested to know that a number of village and estate communities have made arrangements for a local doctor to make regular visits — a service taken advantage of by many of the residents.

   
Shopping's not a problem
Some villages and estates have a small shop for basic grocery needs.

Others are strategically located within close proximity to shops, transport and other local amenities.
Some even have their own community bus to take residents shopping.
 
Gardens alive with colour
Beautiful gardens are often a feature of villages or estates. In some communities there are exquisitely landscaped gardens and areas in which residents can walk and enjoy the beauty of the area.

Also, manufactured home sites are sized to allow sufficient room for a small garden and many residents take great pride in cultivating this area.

However, it is entirely up to the individual whether they choose to make their garden totally maintenance free or bring it to life with colourful flowers and shrubs.
