The Manufactured Housing Industry Association

The Manufactured Housing Industry Association of New South Wales (MHIA) is a representative body for manufactured home villages, estates and tourist parks with residential sections in NSW. MHIA also represents industry suppliers such as manufactured home insurance providers and manufactured home builders.
The Caravan and Camping Industry Association of NSW (CCIA) is the overarching industry organisation which encompasses MHIA and represents caravan and holiday parks across NSW in addition in caravan and RV dealers and manufacturers, camping equipment and accessory providers, and relevant industry service industries. Membership is restricted to individuals and companies who meet standards established by the Association.
The Association is managed by a Board of Directors elected every second year from within its membership and is administered from its offices at Rosehill in Sydney.
The principal objectives of the Association are:-
• to encourage and promote the use of manufactured housing and manufactured home communities for residential use,
• to improve develop and advance the methods of manufacture, distribution and sale,
• to represent the Industry to Government,
• to act as an Industrial body on behalf of the membership.
It is a condition of membership that members comply with the Association's Code of Ethics.
It is the aim of the Association to progress and develop professional and strong touring and residential businesses for the growth of the industry in the future.
